Our regular goalie and many goalies I've seen actually use player skates. I'm sure it's not as good goalie skates but the difference is minimal at our level (tier 13)

i have ice hockey gear, would that be safe to use in roller hockey condition? i dont wanna ruin my gear. I have an extra set of pads that i can use but prefer to use my good ones if its safe on roller surface.

Thanks for the interest. I just got confirmation from an earlier goalie. Haymura, I'll keep you posted if we ever need a goalie for games or scrimmages.

As for your gear, the floor isn't terrible for your gear but you'll find you get little lateral slide so some roller goalies will use pad cover to protect and retain the slide.

Thanks for the heads up Jordan, I'll see you tonight
