this has to be the most retarded post ive seen here in a long time.

guy in the video is claiming those are 747's, the plane filmed after the 3:00 mark isnt a 747, last time i checked 747's have 4 engines. and those arent military planes, military planes dont have shiny paint jobs. and no jet stream?
jet streams and wake turbulence arent visible to the eye because theyre AIR dumbass.

and he also claims that wherever that plane was flying isnt a "commercial route"
im currently doing my commercial pilots licence and theres no such thing as designated commercial flight routes. depending on which runways are active at yvr you're gonna have airliners flying over the city. ive flown over YVR at 2500 ft on my way back to boundary bay from sechelt, crossing directly over the middle of the airport, as long as you obtain the proper clearance, nothing is "designated." theres entrance and exit routes in and out of the airport which are all based on landmarks throughout the city.

i highly doubt theyre dumping chemicals, the stuff coming from those planes is the same smoke they use at airshows to leave a trail behind the plane.

LOL, i agree the guy in the video is a bit retarded, and over thinking his idea.. like at 7:30 freemasons... :facepalm:, and at 7:43, that no contrails are coming out of that jet.. contrails happen when airplane is travelling at higher altitudes and certain conditions etc..

thought i disagree with his facts, i have to say contrails don't last very long, they begin to dissipate in a short period, but whatever would come out from the plane it lasts for a while..

This is one of the most persistant conspiracy theories, it's been going strong for decades and keeps finding more followers.

i was joking with some friends on sunday about how retarded this BS is

and one of the guys i was with is a believer, i asked him why on earth the govt would spend money poisoning us, and his only reply was something about big banks, and "follow the money"

i cant believe people are so fucking retarded. a good friend of mine is an Air traffic controller, nothing flys over kelowna without his knowing. so we chatted about this theory for a few minutes the other night. every plane has an ident tag, they know where every plane comes from and where it goes, if there was some secret organiziation flying dumping patterns, he would know about it, and he is not the type to support to harper govt in anything

Yeah learned about this in ground school, does barely anything. Some effects on the ozone layer but the planet manages to stay in perfect equilibrium despite this. And there are secret patterns they use to control the weather but its all about wind speed, altitude and cloud seeding principles.

i saw this happening twice last week, and both times, the trails started to expand over 2-3 hours until the entire sky changed from a clear day to overcast, looking exactly like 7:45++ in the video

Clouds require certain conditions to form. Suppose that the overcast layer that you observed was going to form anyways; the atmosphere was trending towards creating the optimal conditions for clouds to form. Now take a jet engine through the sky. (Remember, the clouds are going to form anyways; it's just a matter of time until the conditions are ripe.) The jet exhaust simply catalyzes the narrow band of air that it is passing through, thus creating artificial clouds earlier than they would have. The jet saturates the air sooner than the air would have naturally.

And please don't say that you also witnessed the entire overcast layer billowing out from the contrails alone....

i did... i saw about 7-8 trails in the sky when i woke up, then starting from about 730am to 2pm, the thin trails expanded and expanded until a single layer covered the entire sky
