Speeding Ticket as Registered Owner
Hi all,

Just had a question in relation to being ticketed as the registered owner. I understand it doesn't go on your driving record, but does that mean it isn't in the system at all?

If I need a new drivers abstract for work or a police background check, will it show up?

This is my first ticket in 5 years It was the minimal fine, but speeding nonetheless.

Any help would be appreciated...I searched, but to no avail. although I'm sure its been asked before.

When you get a ticket there are boxes that can be checked either as the driver, pedestrian, registered owner, etc...

when charged as the RO it is not attached to your driving record - from what i'm told...looking for further clarification.
