If you're looking for a car that will embarrass most from light to light, cruise at 150kph like nothing, and get you there in style then this is the car for you.

The Car:
This car is a 400 horsepower 5 liter V8 rocket. It has a gorgeous interior with leather sport seats and aluminum trim. I prefer a quick snappy feel to a car and have modified this one to suit. The car had 160,000kms when I bought it and has about 198,000kms now. Please note those figures are kilometers not miles.

The E39 M5 is known to burn oil, this one does not.
This one has the same problems with missing pixels on the odometer display that plague all other E39s.

The body and paint is 8/10 (front bumper recently repaired and repainted, cracked it on a curb parking)
Interior is 9/10 but could use a set of front floor mats
Wheels are 9.8/10 (couple curb scratches on the passenger side lips)
Engine bay is 9/10
Tires 2/10 (basically done)
Brakes 10/10 (replaced front pads three weeks ago)


The Background:
I imported this car from the Seattle area three years ago. Importation was done by the book, the car has the proper door jamb sticker and all associated paperwork. This car was my daily driver for the first two years and then a weekend car for the last year. All mods beside the wheels and brakes were done by me when I imported it. Maintenance has been done my myself and by Nixon Automotive in Burnaby.


Modifications:

Muffler: I've cut the stock mufflers off and ran custom stainless straight pipes from the resonators back. Car sounds mean but not raspy or obnoxious loud.
