Same here.... but kinda worth it for countless hours of fun.

Forza 4 - $40
3 DLC's - $20
VIP + Porsche pack = $35

Total on forza 4 = ~$95

CorneringArtist 05-24-2012 09:32 PM

I'm waiting for DLC I'll actually like, like if a JZX100 Chaser appears. I'm considering pulling the trigger on the Volvo 850 and Legacy as individual downloads though.

I got the limited ed which was 80 ... then all the packs .... :(

cressydrift 05-27-2012 08:04 PM

Porsche pack was worth it though IMO. GT3, gt3 cup, gt3 cup rsr. My fav car/race cars of all time so maybe I am a little bias.

Anyone else heard of Forza Horizon?

Apparantly an open road version of Forza 4 with all the cars and physics and shit but just with open roads for you to cruise like TDU. Also has over 65 types of terrain for off roading and shit.

This shit is gonna be epic.

More Forza Horizon Details: Gas Stations, Dynamic Day/Night Cycles, Desert Heat

Virtual revscene meets and cruises :fullofwin:

Confirmed to be based in Colorado. Damn cant wait for October to come.

Release date : October 23 2012

Kidnapman 06-04-2012 05:42 PM

Its not made by turn10. Don't mean to rain on your parade but I doubt its gunna be any good.

LP700-4 06-04-2012 05:53 PM

It is partially Turn10 and partially Playground Games.

Trailer looks pretty good

Time to wreck havoc with my STI... online :accepted:

Just looked at a game play video, it definitely has none of the physics of Forza. Uses point systems by smashing into stuff and running cars off the road... Not interested anymore :okay:

It might not be totally developed by Turn 10 but you do realize a good chunk of the Playground Games employees come from Codemasters and Bizzare Creations right? These are seasoned veterans who likely worked on Project Gotham and the Dirt / Grid series. Definitely no strangers to making high quality games in the racing game genre.

On the same boat as you. Don't like the whole point system running into things / destroying environment :/ Tho I am interested in the whole gas station addition. I wish blockbuster was still around so I can borrow this for a week to see if I like it or not lol
