UBC 2nd-year electrical engineering

Hi there!!

4 days away from registering for 2nd year EECE courses at UBC, but I'm a little concerned about my course load. Currently, I'm taking 5 (maybe 6) courses in the first semester, and 6 in the second. To people who've personally had the same experience: Any suggestions for alterations to my schedule? Is 6 way too demanding? Cheers!

Are you taking the regular courseload? I would say 6 and 6 is fine, since most of my classmates did it, but I did 5 and 5. I didn't take APSC 201 (I should have, because almost all sections are restricted for year 2's only), CPSC 260 (just took it in summer), and whatever Differential Equations is since I took that already. Prepare to work your butt off though it isn't as bad as some people make it because some of the material overlap, such as programming, the lab courses, and the maths. Shoot me a PM if you want more info, I just finished 2nd year.
