bump! Actually I am the owner of this vehicle. My friend helped me post here. You can PM me, call or text my number at 778-388-5278 (Kevin). Just wanted to say that $22,000 includes tax as well.

You should mention that you don't own the car yet and it's still a lease, it's a very important part of the deal you're not mentioning up front, it shouldn't be a surprise at the end

Thanks Douming. Yes that is correct, the car it is under my lease.

We are open to discussion as to whether or not they want to buyout under the lease to save tax or if they feel comfortable and avoid all the hassle they can directly buy from us.

The options are open to negotiations. Thanks for your support for my ad!

Should also mention that the warranty expires this year, so technically it doesn't have a 4 year warranty anymore, more like 6 month warranty

The warranty is the standard 4 years/80,000 km and ends on Dec 3rd of this year, hence the wording "still has warranty left." And 80,000 km means if you go beyond that distance, the warranty would expire so whichever comes first.

Anything else you want to know ? =p

Nope, car is in pretty good condition.. but your first post should really mention that it's a leased vehicle.. which should be on your craigslist ad as well as all those other websites you posted on... it will really prevent people from flaking on you or you misrepresenting your ad

i.e not a car for sale, but a down payment + car buy-out, don't forget you'll have to sign a contract if you want them to buy it out and then pay you afterwards

Douming: that is the whole point of negotiation, and finding a process that is comfortable for both parties to agreed on and proceed. And I'm so sorry that your offer was too low to accept and I do understand your extreme interest in this car through the massive number of e-mails and calls to me.

But if you have any questions regarding this car, feel free to ask but if you want to vent then this may not be the most appropriate place to do it.

For the rest of the revscene people looking at this, my offer was just to buy-out which was approximately ~20,100.00 (after tax, fees, and inspection) the last time I was quoted by Richmond Acura. Suggesting that my offer was 'too low' is a bit too much. If I had known your car was not yours I wouldn't even have bothered to come take a look at it. I don't need to say anymore, I think anyone remotely smart would understand what's going on here.

I thought that buying out your car was pretty generous. I would have liked it as my first relatively new used car. However, I don't like how your ad is the same despite the fact that I went through all the trouble in sorting out your situation. You shouldn't try to represent your car as your own - you need to put LEASE in the title.

I don't quite understand your point... The price I posted is $22,000 which is below the market value. Please check a comparative 2007 Acura CSX Type-S that is on sale at a local dealer. Their price is above $3500 (tax included) than my price.

I know you are upset that you cannot bargain the price down to what you wanted, and I'm sorry for that. And the number of e-mails and calls from you is mainly to bargain the price down which I have said many times what it is, and the lease information was given to you on the same day of our negotiations. Most people would just walk away after the first call if they don't agree on the price but you on the other hand..... jeesh

Again, if you have any OTHER questions about this car. You can ask as they are probably questions most people would want to know too.....

I'm just trying to save people here some time =).

I spent a lot of time calling of course I'm going to want the car. I tried my best to reason with you; but you make it seem like I'm desperate, cars come and go. You're the person stuck with 4 lease payments that you have to pay with no way out other than to buy the car itself... who would buy a new car without selling their old one first?

//

You didn't even know your own situation on the first day, you wanted me to buy it AFTER you bought it out, not only that but you wanted to put it down to me as a gift to avoid taxes- leaving a paper trail on me and not yourself. Please, just change your ads on craigslist, buysell, w/e to LEASE BUY-OUT instead of what you have it as currently. It's not exactly FOR SALE when you don't own it.

Douming: I think it has come to a point where you are very angry.

I suggest if you have concerns with this post, you should contact the moderators as I just want to deal with buyers who have real questions... Thanks!

bump!

Acura quoted me a lease buy-out price of approximately $20500 which includes everything (taxes + documentation fees). This offer expires on July 31, 2011 and price is firm! So you can save on tax and just pay the buy-out price!

bump again!

offer remains the same with buyer paying Acura buyout price ($20500). Buyer only pays the buyout price! getting my friend soon to help me edit the original post to reflect the changes as price of $22,000 has been lowered to approx $20500 (Acura buyout price). Thanks!

Are you just looking for someone to buy out car? Or do you want the difference between buyout price and $22000? Sorry I am a bit confused.

^i think he just want to get rid of the car by asking someone to pay for the buyout price which is about $20500...so he is not going to get the difference...btw its just my guess
