keepvid alternative ?

So i used to use keepvid.com all the time to save vids / mp3's off youtube etc but now they started charging.

What alternatives are there ( if any ) where i can just copy and paste a URL into a website and save it ?

I don't really want to install 3rd party programs onto my computer just to save a song / movie.

Anything out there ?

TIA

which browser do you use?

Firefox and Chrome both have add-ons/extensions that allow you to save videos and music off youtube. I use downloadhelper - it works for any site that has video.
