I wonder how intuitive the entire interface is. Thats a shit load of buttons and functions.

Eff-1 07-19-2011 03:51 PM

As impressive as that is, I can't believe how dated it looks. That's some old school technology in there.

tiger_handheld 07-19-2011 04:53 PM

soldered connections or 3m t-taps... :troll:

Jegz 07-19-2011 05:09 PM

do you guys know that...

The computer that runs the space shuttle...

1.) has less than 1% of the power of a Xbox 360? (so... that's like less than 10% of your average smartphone on the market)

2.) Runs on 1MB of RAM

StylinRed 07-19-2011 05:36 PM

i imagine they wouldn't want to make it dependent on software/computers

I wonder how many of those switches/buttons they actually use on a flight

oh and its nice seeing that "CANADA" banner in the rear

moody 07-19-2011 06:35 PM

all those button and no window .. but i guess space is just black?

AzNightmare 07-19-2011 06:43 PM

No window to see where they are going. I guess they don't really need it anyway.
Probably got a camera outside.
