Supporting documents for tax returns

Hey RS,

I recently found out that I missed the button on uFile Tax to apply for the HST/GST quarterly rebate. My accountant buddy pointed me to the right section on the CRA website on what to do, BUT

It says I need a written letter with all my info AND a supporting document backing up what I wanted to change.

How do I prove that I'm NOT currently enrolled in this program? has anyone had to apply late for this credit thing?

Thanks

your accountant buddy .. i am disappointed in him..

You do what the cra requests - write a letter explaining your situation. AND fill out the T1-ADJ as follows

Line No. GST/HST Credit
Name of line: Apply for GST/HST Credit
Previous amount: N/A
+/- : N/A
Revised: I am qualified (see attached)

See attached: Photocopy of your Notice of Assessment.

FYI - i have not done this for myself or anyone of my clients. the cra is pretty friendly if you write a letter to them in grade 6 english. If you have questions feel free to pm.
