What the OP posted was just one of (and possibly the most recent) things as an example. However, a lifetime of being belittled, and taken advantage of... is not trivial when you add it all together.

my ex-aunt she treated me nicely to my face n all that, but then id hear her complain to my uncle bout how lazy i am , i dont help around the house , dont do anything and that my room is always "smelly" BITCH I DID MORE FOR YOU THEN UR KIDS HAVE IN THEIR 15 YEARS OF EXISTENCE AND I WAS 8 AT THE TIME! loool , and hey i cant help it if the room's smelly, its called going thru puberty and sweating and hittin the gym a lot. Meh, don't feel bad.
My gf's aunt/uncle for 1. She lives with her aunt and her aunt used to ask me to do all kinds of things. I was brought up to respect that to a certain point to "gain my stay." But when her aunts brother (gf's uncle) comes over and calls me lazy, and a mooch, I just said fuck it. Stopped doing everything. Now I'll only walk the dog with the gf, and take the bottles to the bottle depot, because I'm the one who drinks most of them. (Plus I get my deposit back  ) I would snap at them too, but then my gf could potentially be kicked out, and that wouldn't be any good because she's close to where she goes to school.
Some people are just ungrateful and you can't do anything about it. They won't learn until they get a stick shoved sooooo far up their ass that their head pops off.

My wifes Aunt is a cunt. She disrespected me in front of my family and friends at my sons birthday party so I straight called her out in front of everybody. I told her it was my house not hers and if she didn't like it theres the door, she left. It was an awkward situation, one where the whole house went silent as we had it out. She's always the bossy bitch at family functions and most my wifes family takes it, not me though. Treat people how you want to be treated its weird how it works most the time.
Funny thing is she came back 30 minutes later and appolagized. I still think she's a cunt but I will give her props for realizing it. Thats the nice thing about being grown up, you don't really need to take shit from people especially relatives and inlaws under your own roof.

i think this thread is useful because my aunt is a big bitch, she owns a restraunt and i sometime to go down to visit my cousins then she makes me doo all the work while my cousins(who are suppose to do the work) and i don't get payed even when the customers tip me she would be all over my ass for the fucing tip and my cousin gets like a quarter of the tip for his salary then i told him to get a job cause thats like a dollar each day. then we had an arguement she bitching how me and my cousin don't fucking contribute for the family. then she was bitching how shes going to tell my dad and my mom how much of an ass i was. my other aunt always tells everyone in the whole fucking family how smart this aunt was but in the end how much of a dumbfuck she was. talks shit about me everytime we have a party or what ever i don't even want to see their fucking faces
