Drive time from SFU van to SFU burnaby?

Google maps says its about 30 minutes, but I'm not sure what traffic will be like.

My class will end at 3:30 at Harbour Centre, and I have another starting at 4:30 on bby mountain, can I make it?

I doubt it, last semester Spring I had a class end at Harbour Center at 3 and a tutorial at 4 in BBY, I would get up there at around 4:20. I just talked to the TA to switch me to another tutorial.

really depends on the traffic in the area. I know it gets pretty congested that route with buses to boot.

Van to Bby will take a while. But Bby to Van takes only 25-30 mins at 5.

At that time of the day, it would be really tight getting to SFU BBY on time. Factor in things like having to walk to your car after the 3:30 class, or if it's raining, that is going to slow down traffic to. Parents are going to be picking up kids from school at that time so if you take Hastings on the BBY side, you pass Capital Hill and Burnaby North.

If it was earlier in the day I think you would make it.

Alright thanks guys, I guess I'll try it out the first day and if I don't make it I'll try and swap to the earlier class.

If this is any indication... Taking 135 from Burnaby to Harbour is around 45mins, I've done it in 35mins when the bus driver is fast.
Fastest I've heard of people doing Harbour to Burnaby on 135 is minimum 1 hour.

More info for you to chew on. I work a block away from the ice cream factory at Venables and Raymur. Its at least a 30mins drive to school at around 2pm.
3pm in September? I don't think I wanna try. Not to mention Harbour is a fair bit farther and in the middle of congestion zone.
