When's The Last Time You Turned Your Phone Off?
 

I finally installed iOS 5 on my actual phone (not my dev phone) and I ended up having to reboot it.

It was then I realized I haven't turned my phone off for a couple months now. I asked my wife and she also said she never turns it off (with a puzzled look like I'm asking her a stupid question).

So how many of you turn your phone off every day, and how many never turn it off unless you have an issue come up?

Its always on me. Iphones have gps on them. Government is watching. Tracking us. Everywhere your phone is they know!!

I think the last time I turned mine off off was on a plane a month ago. I put mine in sleep mode a lot but I don't ever really turn it off.

my phones usually on 'silent' or it knows im sleeping (pre-programmed times) so the phones on

but i do turn it off sometimes when im too lazy to grab my charger (had it off like last week)

considering it is the only phone I have (no land line) it is always on....what if i had to call 9 - 1 - 1 and the phone was off....gotta wait for it to load to dial could get me killed !!!


last time my phone was off was yesterday as I just bought it :)

i dont turn it off, i reboot.

I turn it off every night before I sleep, and it's on silent mode 90% of the time when it's on.

never unless something is wrong i'll try and reboot it and see if the problem is fixed

Occasionally i'll turn it off for a bit if I'm out and my phone is about to die.

I turn if off every now and then because it freezes or has some other issue.

Ditto. The last time I turned it off was years back during an exam.
I reboot my phone, but hardly turn it off.

I reboot it and stuff when i uninstall apps, but if that doesnt count, then NEVER

Just the occasional battery pull.

I can't remember..must be years ago

Kinda scary when you realized how long since you had your phone off completely for any amount of time (years for me). What was scarier was the fact that I realized I never was without my cellphone near with since grade 9. We are truly socially connected through technology.

Only time I turn off my phone is if I need to. Otherwise it's on 24/7 with profiles

My phone only turns off because it runs out of battery LOL....freaking Nexus S has shitty battery life

Never, unless I have to change the housing or restart.

Mine lasts me from when I wake up till when I go to sleep easily

My old HTC Magic needs a reboot once every several months

That's cause you're on edge all the time lol.

Only time I've turned it off in the last I don't even know how many years is either when I'm flying or doing a battery pull for some reason.
