i downloaded the client..

after the "Updating System files" nothing happens after....

Mine is downloading at 10 to 13 kb/s. This is not acceptable from a company like Blizzard

that's just you. i downloaded it fine on my 100mbit connection this morning. took no time at all.

i was downloading at 550kb/s yesterday first run of the game it was laggy, then it was smoooth from then on, no lag at all, beat the game with every char, also lvl 8 when beat it, now they are lvl 11 and i just keep doing boss runs trying to get better items. seems like you only get a rare item once per char tho...

right click on the downloader and "run as administrator"

They had the announcement on thursday. If you had downloaded it the night before players were playing you wouldn't be downloading at that rate. I was downloading at 1 - 2mb/sec on thursday night before the friday beta open test. Your loss.

for those having slow download speeds:

internet options > connection > lan settings > uncheck auto detect settings

if that doesn't work then you should probably get it via torrent
