You can pre load it on your comp even if you ordered online. You'll need to wait for the CD key to be tied to your bnet account before you can login though. But you can have it fully downloaded and installed. I posted all about this on the last page if anyone is interested.

You have to preorder to get the files from Blizzard yourself. I don't know if copying the files from someone that already has it will work.

Call me old school but I've been playing d2 for the last couple days and its kinda refreshing. New games all look the same, sorta. Not hating on awesome new graphics or anything but it just takes me back to a simpler day.

Not an expert on Macs, but I'll be playing D3 on a MacBook Pro. Would a solid 5+ hours of D3 harm the computer? I know that the CPU was heating up like a bitch playing the beta for 2 hours.
