So we are in 2011, just in the past 10 years stuff has changed dramatically to the way we do things, in almost every aspect of life and how we live it. but 9 years down the road in 2020, how much do you think will change?
This thread is about making weird predictions, and see if they actually come true, or true sooner than expected.
Local or worldwide, share your predictions.
Ill start with a few,
100% increase in Translink fares.
Full blown Electric car sales.
Gas prices soar to $4-5/L.
Minimum wage $14.
Food and Dairy prices 100% increase.
No more home phones.

BC will still be in a deficit
there will be a Water Tax which is revenue neutral
There will be a skytrain system to UBC
There will be a bike bridge / ramp crossing false creek
iphone 9S and Ipad 7 with will be out. both will have the ability to act as a credit card.

Produce prices will increase by at least 200% given how fucked we are for cars right now. Either that, or no more California goodies in the winter (Strawberries, cauliflowers, even green onions).
