Older PC games - Suggestions? Well, My new-ish video card died on me. And a buddy gave me this business video card(Quadro NVS 295) to use until i decide a game is big enough that I would buy a new Videocard (usually a new PC AKA D3), as I rarely game anymore with work. I can't play any new games as the specs will never work, So my question is. Does anyone have a suggestion on a game to play? Something they loved a tonne and would suggest playing for 2-3 hours a week? |

Just go to Freegeek and pick up a half-decent video card for a few bucks. I remember grabbing a GF6 there for $10 a couple of years ago. I'm sure GF9s can be had for that price now. Runs most games if you can live without 1920x1080 resolution. To answer your q, how about FarCry or CODMW1? :) |

Gog.com (Good Old Games) has a boat load of old games. I got all the Baldur's Gate 1/2 there recently. The video is crap but they're still fantastic games. |
