anyone here have a modded wii?

i just soft modded my wii to the newest firmware 4.3

i was wondering how and where would i be able to put SNES/N64 EMULATORS + GAMES onto either my external or SD card to play on the wii

i know their considered "virtual console games" but not sure if i can just download any type of snes/n64 rom file and it will just work

i also don't want to pay someone on craigslist 20-40$ for a disc full of games when i can just download and install them myself

any help is appreciated

ALSO with those with the softmod

are you using USB LOADER GX or WIIFLOW?

seems like most people are using usb loader gx while some say wiiflow is better

Dang I've been out of the Wii loop for a while.. Anyways I use USB Loader GX for iso's (with a western digital passport hard drive) and WAD manager to install my virtual console shiz. There's a wii homebrew wiki page somewhere with a ton of emilators to choose from and you install them using the homebrew channel. Hope it helps

Yeah getting started is definitely a pain in the ass lol. I recommend the guides over @ wiihacks.com, they helped me get through my soft mods without breaking anything.

I had to experiment with different combos before I finally got everything functional. I forget which cIOS or IOS I have but I do remember WAD manager 1.4 was the only version that worked for me. Sometimes certain newer games dont work and I have to google for individual/isolated fixes for whatever symptoms I have. FEELSGOODMAN.jpg when I fire up my games without getting up to change discs, and guests cant contain their jelly.

Go into the emulation section

some of the links for emulators might be down but just google them. I think they moved the projects into google code
