I've been reading and viewing the 2011/2012 catalogs for the outerwear I'm thinking and i can't decide on what I want!

however I am going to order some of the new dragon framless goggles, and a couple pairs of 32 boots.

I need new goggles, ones that are less prone to fogging, lol

I've been prepping for snow since I got my cypress pass back on season's end. sticking with my set-up from last season, since they're still pretty ok for my level. Maybe i'll grab a twin on christmas if i find something good. learning switch on my directional proved to be quite the challenge.

And holy shit, it's only august. this weak-ass excuse for a summer needs to end so i can ride again.

I'll be rocking my 2010/11 Skate Banana with 390 crew bindings, and my Bataleon The Hero (gotta pick up bindings! suggestions?) Gunna hit up the turkey sale i think for some new boots, new goggles, and a new jacket. Pretty tempted to pick up another board as well, depends what catches my eye!
Either way- So stoked for snow! Even if i was boarding just 2 months ago

To help with fogging even with cheap-o goggles: Don't take your goggles off your face. Never put them on your forehead.

or you can take them off, but face them with the outside portion of the lens facing upwards.

Or you can pick up some hockey anti fog cloths for cheap and clean the lens the same time you coat them with no fog material.

What bindings would you want?

I'll ask around and see if there are any 2011/2012 samples still left

My current ones have some scratches on the inside and outside. What do you recommend for a new pair, looking at a mirrored lens one that can fit over some eye glasses.

first thing i recommend.

contact lenses.

second thing I recommend.

Trying on as many pairs as possible. mirrored lenses come from almost every brand now a days. If you don't have proper fitment over the bridge of your nose, then the goggles are rendered useless.

you can skimp out on the gear, buy the cheapest stuff out there, but when it comes to vision, you don't want to cheap out. You also don't want to go with fashion over function.

It's like having the fastest, best looking car that can't stop. Being able to see allows you to avoid getting hurt.

Urban sliding. Sounds like fun!! Btw, are you still going to be mainly riding Cypress this year? I'd love to learn a few things from you this season if you don't mind.

wooot. Just picked up a new deck and decided to haul out my steeds for the first time in a while.

Went with Volcom outerwear this season and am very stoked with the quality of their gear.

Just a thought. What kind of music do you guys listen to riding down the mountain? Let's share!

Btw, if the mods don't like me posting this here and want me to start a new thread in the music section, let me know.

i've got the free seasons pass for cypress from the video contest i won last year.

and I have corporate passes for seymour and grouse. So i'll be set.

however the gf and I will mainly hit cypress so that she can rock out on her new set up as well.

just send me a message when you're ready to roll
