Even at $200, it isn't a bad price as long as there is decent enough support for it.
That you will have to ask the other guys who have one to see if there is a lot of apps for it.
Something to consider. Someone said how can programers write apps for this thing when they don't even have a unit to play with.
I haven't given up hope on mine but if it doesn't happen, so be it.

I don't get why there's so much hype for this tablet. HP already stated they are killing webOS. Sure you can flash it, but what's so good about Android 2.3 when other tablets have 3.0 already.
This thing is only worth what it is being sold at, if you're looking to make a quick buck by reselling it on the secondary market, then good luck. HP is doing this to gain market saturation, not because they are going down under on one of their production lines.
If you're going to spend $200-$300 to buy this from the secondary market, spend the extra $200 on an iPad (and I HATE Apple but this thing is fast) or Galaxy Tab.

| webOS is faster than the galaxy tab, while navigating through the menus. Not to mention, it has far superior multitasking capabilities compared to android. Your additional 300 dollars for a Tab is an additional 2 tablets that I can buy with a touchpad. The touchpad is in a category of its own. So its not fair to compare it to another tablet that's 3 times its cost. Unjustifiable.

HP isn't killing webOS, they are killing the hardware division.
The reason there is so much hype is that this is a legitimately good product for $99. Even $200 might be worth it, you can't get a better tablet for that price.

Last minute, decided to go check out the Coquitlam store.
They had 10 for sale but people were saving spots for other people. There was one guy who went to get an older lady from the mini van when they were about to open. Another fobby china couple had 2 vouchers and they were obviously together but the staff didn't care when people complained.
Needless to say I didn't get one, not that I thought I was since i went so late but to advertise one per house hold and not have a manager there was pretty sad on their part. If the staff was smart, they should have called the manager before selling the first unit, but they didn't.

Unjustifiable. | WebOS has lost it's support from HP, it's only going to be a few months without any security updates before this device will become a liability to the person using it. it's use in the future now relies on third party programmers willing to either work around the problems that WebOS brang to the touchpad or bring new operating systems to the table like Android or Linux (Debian/Ubuntu or something similar) also jailbreaking is an apple term, nothing else is jailbroken
