they sell a pair of nice fleece lined water resistant jeans for the winter. Decent deal with this coupon

OK, Carhartts and everything in store is on sale for 20% off. One day only. Thursday, September 22nd. Sale starts at 5:00 pm. Some stores are open till 11:00 PM. This is a "Ladies Night" sale, but the sale also applies to mens clothing and accessories. I believe they call it a women's thing because for every $65 or more purchase, Mark's donates $5 toward breast cancer research. Plus, it's an excuse to have a sale.

If you buy more than $150.00 of Carhartt products, you get a $30.00 Mark's bonus card. This is now till Sept. 25th. I'm not sure if they will give you the $30.00 gift card and the 20% off on Ladies Night. They do layer coupons and stuff. I've had that happen to me in the past, where they combine the $10 off coupon with whatever storewide discount is, for the day. This is why I grab a few of those $10.00 off coupons the month before, because you never know when these 20 - 25% off everything in the store events happen.

Check the link below for more details. The Carhartt deal is in their flyer that advertises the Ladies Night. It was in with all the flyers that come inside the local papers.

Check Wednesday's Vancouver Courier for 40% off Mark's coupon. It's stuck to the flyer. It isn't in the Burnaby papers, but in Vancouver Courier. My mom lives in Vancouver. I recycle all her newspapers and stuff.

As usual, the coupon does not apply to gift cards, industrial wear/footwear, Carhartt, and Dakota items, so be warned. Coupon valid from Sept 28 - Oct 25, 2011.

The coupon doesn't seem to be on their website. Anyway............

i'll have to go steal the courier off someones door step :p

Check your flyers. $10.00 off coupon when you buy $20.00 or more. It's stuck to the flyer. Not sure if it is on all flyers in Lower Mainland, but the ones in North Burnaby had them.

That's 50% off, depending on how much you buy. Didn't read the fine print, so check that out first.

If you live in an apratment, some people rummage through the copies to take coupons and offers.

McD's coupons when they were not accepting copies were always taken from the stacks left in lobbies of apartment and condo buildings. LOL. My aunt, who lives in a high rise, never gets the good coupons. The stack gets raped as soon as it gets delivered.

I wouldn't be surprised if letter carriers take some coupons, like the free 5 dollars gift certificates that Canadian Tire puts out once in a while.

Was at the grand re-opening of the Coquitlam Canadian Tire - the one near Ikea. They were giving away 10 dollar off when you spend $20 or more at Mark's, cards. That translates into 50% off, if you keep it at $20.00 (socks, accessories, cheap shirts, etc.).

I read the fine print and the only exception is that you cannot buy gift cards with it or combine it with any other card.

I believe the grand re-opening event is for 4 days (Thursday - Sunday). They're open till 10 tonight, btw.

MG1 11-23-2011 07:57 PM

This coming Saturday is Mark's Friends and Family Event.

20% off everything in the store, including industrial wear and sale items.

Sale starts at 5 pm on the 26th. Some stores will stay open until 11PM. Probably not the one on Grandview Hwy. Those guys are so weak sauce.

Right now, I think they have a "buy $100 gift card and get 20 bucks back" deal. Get that and then use it on Saturday :fullofwin:

EDIT: Looks like that offer ended a day or so ago. Frick. I was so going to do this, too. You snooze, you lose. :okay:

fliptuner 11-25-2011 11:47 AM

Just got back from Mark's in PoCo, by Costco.

Yes, 20% off everything tomorrow 5pm-close and you can stack it with the $10 gift card on the front of the flyer. There are also items that are "buy XXX brand and get $10 off any mens apparel" that you can stack on everything as well.

The buy $100 gift card deal is if you buy the gift card, you get a $20 store credit card. Unfortunately the card isn't in effect til Dec.1 but the good thing is, there's no minimum purchase, so you can buy a $21 item and pay $1.

Because of their hold policy, I was able to put all the items I found on hold, til the 20% off sale starts tomorrow. I also bought 2 $100 gift cards to use tomorrow and have a free $40 to spend next time they have a sale.

MG1 11-25-2011 07:17 PM

Haha........ just got home. I went to Guilford Walmart and decided to go into the Mark's. Found out that the get free $20.00 for buying $100.00 gift card offer was still on. Got two of them. All set for tomorrow.

All those people who were upset about Carhartts and industrial wear not being on sale last time around should go tomorrow.

Perfect timing.
Had a huge chunk of molten metal burn a huge hole down the side of my left leg about 2 hours ago. hah. :okay:

Any idea if the one on Grandview is having the sale?
It's like 5 minutes away from my house.

They will have the sale, but not sure if they will stay open late like the others. Late as in till 11:00 freakin PM.

Only other thing is that location sucks as far as selection goes. However, if you know what you want, they will bring it in. You pay for it and they wil deliver it to your house for free or call you to pick up at store as soon as it comes in. It's called Fast Find, and I've had all kinds of stuff brought in.

Then definately BUY THE $100 GIFT CARDS.

You're spending the money anyways, might as well take advantage of saving a minimum of $20/card from now Dec. til April.

The PoCo store didn't have the size I wanted for a particular jacket so i just put the next size up on hold and when I find out which store has it, I'll just exchange it then.

The level of customer service at most locations is awesome.

As quite a few customers have said in their feedback section, all retailers should follow their practices and policies. I love shopping there.

Hondaracer 11-26-2011 09:57 AM

The wholesale sports black Friday sale last night was freakin sweet as well, 40% off all outerwear, and crazy discounts on basically everything, hourly specials from 8-12, two of my buddies picked up a $165 12-gauge, a poor quality gun I'm sure but I don't think u can beat the price for Somthing to just blow off shells

I picked up helly hansen insullated long underwear and the long sleeve top, a pair of carhart jeans, and got a free t-shirt for $62

"does not apply to gift cards. not valid on marks.com"

Gift cards yes, Holiday Bonus Cards no.

Basically, for every $100 gift card you pruchase, they give you a $20 Holiday Bonus Card (valid Dec. 01- Apr. 01).

Say you're going to spend $300 there tonight. Go in, buy 3 $100 gift cards and get the 3 Holiday Bonus Cards. Pay for your stuff with the gift cards and use the Holiday Bonus Cards later. Think of it as a $60 in-store credit you can use later.

Hondaracer 11-26-2011 11:45 AM

fuck should probably go buy a $100 worth at least then..

nsmb 11-26-2011 11:58 AM
