For now, I just use lotion, udderly smooth cream, in my hair to create a sorta wet look.

Occasionally use Murray's, but hate that thick wax and only lasts a couple hours in my hair, strangely enough.

I'd love to keep that wet/glossy look.

Amazon has it for $10..might be cheaper than buying it here. I even ebayed most of my gatsby stuff from before and saved $10 PER product.

Thanks, but I only need one. But I'll look into it

Kevin Murphy products are the best, though I'll admit sometimes I wonder if it's truly worth paying $30+ for a single "tub". Haven't found anything as good which costs less money though.

edit: just read through the rest of the thread...I'm white, if that makes any difference with regards to hair product.

I am very tempted to try Kevin Murphy, but god damn the price! lol

AlpineEcstasy 08-21-2013 06:21 PM

Fantastic product, but yeah I get you on the price. I used to have a hair stylist in my old hometown who gave me a 50% discount and I've stuck with the brand since.

Locally, I think only Aberdeen sells it but it's expensive.

As others said, it's probably cheaper on Amazon or eBay. I got mine from Japan and California, it's so much cheaper there.

I started using layrite and stuff is awesome! Probably will be my hair styling product for a while.

smarv 11-04-2013 09:17 PM

I like the smell and feel of layrite it holds well and washes out easy as well.

They're salon exclusive. More than positive a Vietnamese salon will carry it.

Wow, really?

And to think I was the belligerent racist on Revscene!? :seriously:

Armind 11-04-2013 10:17 PM

I'm nammer. :lawl:

bcrdukes 11-04-2013 10:36 PM

What's wrong with Vietnamese salons? Why would you want to intentionally avoid your own people?

hongy 11-04-2013 10:36 PM

Perm hair, never have to do shit with it.

I am Chinese, and I would intentionally avoid my "own" people. lol.

bcrdukes 11-05-2013 09:35 AM

You guys are lucky you didn't get banned over it.

Fucking Nazi Revscene Mods man.

Spidey 11-05-2013 09:51 AM

There is nothing racist about the comment myself and Armind made. We didn't state anything negative or discriminative against respective races. I simply said I avoid them. I have my personal reasons.

etodac 11-05-2013 10:02 AM

Any recommendations on hair spray? The hold on my clay isn't that great. I have medium-length hair.

bcrdukes 11-05-2013 12:23 PM

So you neither you and Armind answered the question: Why would you openly avoid your own race/culture? I'm just trying to understand here and I'm sure there are inquiring minds. Help put some perspective into our lives and richen it with your wisdom.
