removing garbage disposal

My garbage disposer/garburator has rusted due to a lack of use. I want to remove the disposer and just have 2 sinks.

I've never done something like this before, and the tutorials online just say how to replace the disposal with another one. I just want to have 2 sinks , no disposal. Can someone give me some tips as to how I can do this?

you need a new strainer basket assembly, a dishwasher tee, bunch of elbows, compression/trap adapter (to fit the tailstock of strainer), some pipe, some ABS glue. Or you can try to see if you can find a whole kit that will fit (with dishwasher nipple) (see http://www.mobilehomerepair.com/kitchdrainkit.htm)

Get a buddy that can do it for you if he has the supplies (like the glue and wrenches) and buy him a beer.

Or bring the photo with you to Rona or Homedepot and tell the guy what you want to do. Your is a little tricky because there is no pipe section that you cut on to of the tee to change the pipe, or you may have to change all pipes/fittings after the trap.
