Most of us are refering to "stolen parts" from the vehicle since its been stripped. So wat we mean is, eye out for "stolen parts" in richmond and ubc area etc.

Of course I read the thread.. Even if the car is parted out already, the rims aren't that hard to miss since they're not even common, and are probably worth more than the car itself, as noted by you. If I do see your rims, i'll make sure to spot them and notify you asap.

Stop jumping yourself into conclusions....

greendb7 09-06-2011 10:21 AM

My buddy has a red S13 as well, he was drooling over your fitment at the RS summer meet. Will definately keep an eye out for parts, can't be hard to miss at all. Sorry about the shitty situation.

jing 09-07-2011 08:37 PM

Went into the claim center today to have a look at my car and to talk to the estimator and adjuster. Car is mostly intact except for my wheels, spacers, stereo, and gauges. My kit was damaged in a number of places from the crackhead(s) trying to jack the car up. I'd imagine they had a bit of trouble though given it's ride height, lol. Exhaust also had several nice dents in it and the fuel tank had a massive dent in it. Locks were punched, door handle was nearly torn off, sunroof was removed as well. Doesn't look good, but it's time to move on and get something newer. Time to deal with ICBC now.

Keep an eye out for these stolen parts..

- GP Sports Gravity Gullflames (machined finish), 18x8.5 +25 on 215/35/18 Nitto NeoGen's
- GP Sports Gravity Gullflames (machined finish), 18x9.5 +35 on 225/40/18 Falken 912's
- 25mm Powered by Max bolt-on spacers (anodized gold)
- JVC KD-ABT22 CD/MP3/USB/Bluetooth headunit
- RayBan New Wayfarers, gloss black

Matsuda 09-07-2011 09:11 PM

sorry to hear about that, I liked your car =(

DiiCii 09-07-2011 09:27 PM

fuck, you're car was one unique s13 :( get another! where was it found? and was it still on jacks at the time? maybe the crackheads are from that area..

gloors 09-08-2011 07:44 AM

Damn that sucks... :( your s13 was my motivation to getting one once again D::okay: Will keep a look out for those parts

underscore 09-24-2011 06:12 PM

I know the guy that bought it from ICBC, if anyones interested in getting anything from it.

jing 09-24-2011 06:28 PM

Pretty low of your buddy JoshB to outbid me on my only chance of getting my shit back since I had posted on BC240 about it

C-unit 09-24-2011 07:25 PM

Don't you get priority on buying the car back over everyone else?

Truth. I had really hoped the 240 community to have better heart than that.

Also pretty low of you to try to advertise a part out of OP's car in his own stolen thread buddy.

Something about icbc saying no buy back in his write off deal, not sure. So he had a friend bid for him to try to get SOMETHING back since icbc pretty much jew'd him.

Hey I didn't know if he was aware of what was going on with it. I've never had a car written off so I have no clue how it all works, I thought it might be helpful in case he or a friend want something from it. I barely know Josh, I just know he got the car.

Alby 09-24-2011 09:55 PM

^ you should tell your buddy josh to have a heart and sell it back to jing at the cost he paid for it.

Death2Theft 09-24-2011 11:16 PM

240's are kinda like hondas now in that so many ppl swapping parts out of them.
Whats the prob bro? Icbc paid you and u got a plenty fast daily.
Why are you trying to mess with the system by having a "buddy" buy a car you agreed not to buy back?

Ignorance is bliss, though I highly doubt that he had no idea about the car's history seeing as he had originally posted in my thread and then quickly edited his post once his shop name was revealed. Buying parts back from my *own* car? Ha! Me buying my car back would've just meant me recovering some more of my losses, whereas your buddy Josh buying the car means several thousand in his pocket. I understand that he won it fair and square, but jewing someone in the process just isn't right.

ICBC paid me roughly 2/3 the going rate of similar 240s on the market. You can try and point fingers at me for "trying to mess with the system" all you want but I think it's safe to say that anyone forced into the same situation would only try and do the same, and for the record, I was never given the option to buy it back nor was I given the option to swap back all the stock parts.

C-unit 09-25-2011 12:24 AM

did you request to buy the car baack though? because most of the time icbc will not give you the option because auctioning the car means more money in icbc's pocket. You'll have to request of buying the car back. I guess it is too late now but should keep this in mind. I guess try Pm josh to see if he'll sell you the car back for couple hundred more. Good luck.
