When I used to spend 1500-2000 a month on fuel airmiles was the bomb. Without that it takes a while to accumilate enough for anything decent.

Jermyzy 09-06-2011 03:24 PM

boston pizza gives airmiles IIRC

wreck 09-06-2011 04:53 PM

safeway.

every month minimum they do a spend $100, get 100 airmiles.. ontop of the regular airmiles they give on certian products.

skyxx 09-06-2011 05:19 PM

Chevron 94 octane is ethanol free. :)

you know...the difference in price between 91 Shell and 94 Chevron is only 1 cent per litre right?

At max you're paying an extra 70 cents a fill up.

TOS'd 09-07-2011 08:22 AM

75000+ air miles, lol.

krazynuck 09-07-2011 08:25 AM

I get most of mine from BP and Safeway...I get about 100 - 150 airmiles a week now

very easy to collect if you follow the bonus programs at safeway

What about airmiles rewards?

What do you guys cash your miles in for? A bunch of the electronics seem so outdated.

dai3yuen 09-09-2011 10:34 AM

Toys R Us now gives airmiles...although I pretty much stopped collecting a few years ago.

Went onto TD Travel Rewards and now onto RBC Avion as I mainly use the points for flights

FYI it seems that airmile collecting is best in the summer months (July and August) as it seems you get the most bonus points then

ecchiecchi 09-09-2011 10:55 AM

I am going to safeway to buy some tissue now.

thats a bit expensive as a mile costs $0.24...its best to get it at $0.11 - $0.13/mile

however if you need tissue because you got a big friday night planned in NWS forums then go ahead :alone:

bookmark that RFD forum post though as the guy is local and updates weekly

Ulic Qel-Droma 09-09-2011 12:06 PM
