just looking through my old infractions found this gem of a thread:

anyone know if Fedex will be delivering packages tomorrow?

for some reason this 2day delivery i had incoming got delayed and wont be in richmond until tonight -_-

So I've gotta go pick my girlfriend up at the airport tomorrow. Her flight lands at 7:10, do I need to go ridiculously early (because a fuckton of people are coming back right before christmas) or can I just sail right in (because nobody would ever come back this close to Christmas)?

yesterday (friday) was supposed to be the busiest day @ the airports but everything went like a breeze no congestion/lineups/packed parking lots

the local news did a story on it

so you should be fine

Tell her to go upstairs to departures and pick her up there. I always do that to avoid the huge crowds in arrivals.

still depends on time of day... but usually its less busy near the valet service (departure) or domestic departure area... if you're going at 7:10 (I assume its in the pm) just upstairs at starbucks should be ok

well watching my tracking info it looks like fedex is working but i think my package didnt make it to the Burnaby warehouse in time (got there @ 11am and it looks like its staying there) so i guess i wont get my gift in time for xmas

It was AM. Thanks for the tips anyhow.

She came back from a 10-day trip with one of her classmates in Hawai'i. I was a bit worried thinking there'd be a giant flood of Xmas eve flights for people who wanted to come home just in time for Christmas, but the airport was almost dead. Los tiempos buenos.

soak it immediately in cold water, then google
