The thing thats great about 5 guys is all extra toppings are free, you want extra cheese and bacon free... The cajun fries are the best as well, I always get extra seasoning to bring home and put on my own fries

mikemhg 12-05-2023 01:40 PM

This is making me wanna go to Five Guys right now..

So after being in Europe for a month and a half between the balkans and Italy was fiending for somthing different, there was five guys in the train station in Naples, fuck that shit hit the spot like maybe no other burger had before lol, just a greasy ol double bacon cheeseburger damn lol

However.. I’ll take in-n-out all day baby

3x3 with grilled chopped chillies and onions. I dunno wtf it is about in n out but it’s definitely got a hold on me lol

I do like how In n Out toasts their buns lightly.. but their fries are beyond useless and that deep-sixes it for me.

Hondaracer 12-05-2023 03:25 PM

Fries gotta be animal style

SkinnyPupp 12-05-2023 03:26 PM

I'm glad Five Guys and Shake Shack exist here now, because nobody else does just a good basic burger. First time I tried one, it felt like I was teleported to America. Five Guys fries are great too

Badhobz 12-05-2023 03:39 PM

 <~~ every single Chinese guy here when you talk about which burger is better.

$26 bux for a burger is nuts. We have a new local place that makes a great fresh burger with good fries for a similar price to fast food chains like McDonalds. People are loving it.

+1 for 3x3

My working theory on why the burgers are so good there, is they use a little more salt on their meat. That and the patties are cooked to order instead of sitting in a warmer tray for hours so it's juicier.

Imo Wendy's is almost as good without the line, and has better fries though.

Wak Wak Burgers for cheap ... (they're not that great though)

The best burger I've ever eaten was at Montreal Pool Room. Part of that may have been that it was the only place open after trekking all over trying to find food at the end of a very long day but it's been there since 1912 so it has to be doing something right. The menu is basically just various combos made from hot dog/burger/fries/poutine and it was great.

Is there a zip up version of that hoodie? I don't dig pullovers.

I like Five Guys too, but sometimes... SOMETIMES... they give you a sack of straight up soggy mess... I don't know why or what the reason is, but it's like russian roulette with those guys. It's either fantastic especially for the price or inedible trash.

I’ve only been to Five Guys once and this was my experience. Haven’t been back :fuckthatshit:

No… but if you being it to a tailor and pay like 50-100 bucks I’m sure they can chop it in half and add zippers for you.

68style 12-06-2023 08:37 AM

No way Costco will let you split their letters in half!!

EvoFire 12-06-2023 10:17 AM

My experience with Five guys have been hit and miss, and the fries have been a miss most of the times. Call me basic but I like the burgers at Cactus. The Feenie burger is great and I know what I am getting every time. Their chicken burger is good as well.

I used to like going to Fatburger but there just isn't one around me that's convenient. Easier to get fried chicken than a good burger tbh.

so I got a flu shot a few weeks ago, I felt sorta bulletproof. been in bed the last few days with RSV, real bad.

I see there's a shot for that but I only was aware of flu and covid shots. why isn't RSV on that list of shots you should get?

roastpuff 12-06-2023 12:31 PM

I think RSV vaccine is recommended for vulnerable people - old people and kids. Also I don't think it's covered so I hear it's quite expensive. Couple hundred dollars?

$200 or a week off work, hmmm.
also, my extended medical would reimburse

Hondaracer 12-06-2023 03:20 PM

Weird the new trendy vaccine being pitched by radio hosts in scripted ad’s isn’t covered and is a for profit venture? Crazy
