| Is a dash kit required?
I'm a car audio noob but want to try and install my aftermarket head unit. Currently I have the alpine HU and will pick up the harness.
Is it mandatory to use a dash kit? Will there be huge gaps if I don't?
This would be for a 2001 Acura Integra. Btw, anything else I need?

Its an easy install to do half-assed. Its more difficult if you want to do it right.

Not sure if I want to go through the hassle now | We have all that stuf in stock. If you come by I can tell you how to do it. Or I can do it for a minimal fee just like any of our sponsors.

Double din and single din brackets are available. If you go with a single din, it will fill in the bottom with a pocket. The harness is optional but i would highly recommend it. Some people cut the oem female plug off and just skip the harness which looks cheap and just terrible overall. Antenna adapter is not required for this vehicle.

Kind of like the flux capacitor, but for a Nissan, I mean Honda. |

Thanks Mike, for trying to find the reverse flux capacitor. BTW, nice white civic you were working on. It had a Revscene sticker on the back, so it must have been a member. Whoever it was, he should keep that centre console and try to fix it. He was a really good guy.

I know he'll be back!!!

I'll be back myself, 'cause I forgot about the other reason why I was there. To talk to you about the use of the RTA. Both my vehicles need to be tuned. I don't care too much for this Alpine Imprint crap. And the F#1 Status and the auto everything via the mic is too cumbersome. Being able to use a laptop to adjust and save your settings is cool, but having use of an RTA you can actually read without squinting is nice.
Please tell me you have experience with the F#1 processor (PXI-H990).

I'll have to drop by when I have time. Maybe I can pay you to help me with the harness? I don't want to use electrical tape. Still would like to try and install myself Posted via RS Mobile |
