There is a gathering for mining at the pit at 5pm Thursday. Drinks are on 3rd/4th years! ziggyx are you going?
Prof Marcel Veiga is such a hilarious guy took us out to the pit to drink the first day of class

both connect and vista is down for me. fuck! hate how one course uses connect while the rest uses vista, it's very annoying

Haha yeah he is an awesome prof. He's actually my favourites because he keeps class very entertaining and his tests are very "interesting" haha.
I have a lab that ends at 530 and I have to be somewhere at 7 but I'll definitely stop by for a bit even if its just 15 minutes or so. Hopefully I can finish my lab early that day. Let me know if you're going.

Hi UBC'ers
is it still possible to drive to the cul de sac/parking infront of the bookstore or has it been blocked off due to construction? I just want to pick up a friend at UBC around 7:40, any good ideas?

Thanks | Yea you can drive up to it, but no further I believe during normal hours, you may be able to pass it at 740pm :S
