So does UBC never have problem not getting in the courses you need? There's always whining you can't get into courses onto SFU thread, I know a few who didn't got the courses they needed, me inclusive.

Depends on your program, I think. For example, most of the science and engineering degrees have STTs where you're guaranteed to get all your core courses. Some programs, such as my Food Nutrition and Health program, don't have that so you're kind of screwed if you don't get a class (like a two-term physiology class with only ~400 seats)

PHYL 301? That course is always in high demand from people that have to take it as part of their degree (e.g. dietetics, pharm) as well as life science/pre-meds. They significantly upped the capacity since last year by using iPads to stream the lecture into Wood 3.

What? No way.... Do you mean they leant ipads to students as sort of an online lecture because there weren't enough spots in the lecture hall?

I won't be taking phyl 301, but I'll be taking anat 390/391 which is also a requirement for alot of faculties. Does anyone know how fast that course fills up?

Using FaceTime, one iPad in the main lecture hall and another one in the second lecture hall connected to the interface console(ie projected onto the screen) I believe :s
