I'm in, just let me know when.

The weather network always trolls me. So many nights being young hoping for snow and NOTHING.

Weather network, :yuno:

Skyline350gt 11-13-2011 11:14 AM

I got 20% tread left all season tires on my G....Im fucked if it snows.

Berzerker 11-13-2011 11:32 AM

I had shitty tires on my Jeep and I couldn't believe how shitty they actually were. Low tread life plus hard compound (came with the jeep pavement pounder) = stuck on a very low incline in 2 wheel drive. Swapped over to my winters now on steelies and the Jeep looks like a mercenary vehicle now lol. I'll try and get a pic today as I'm going snow wheeling :)

Berz out.

Environment Canada says lows of +2 next weekend. Don't trust the weather network, those American swine!

i feel that the forecast is a major hit or miss in Vancouver...but when it forecasts for snow they are somewhat more reliable..why is that?

cressydrift 11-13-2011 08:31 PM

I like how on Thursday it says 1cm of snow, with no snow flakes on the icon.

:fulloffuck:

Close to 1cm, less than 1cm, close to 1cm

Vancouver weather is too random. It's such a shot in the dark when it comes to the weather. Based off how the last few years were, I don't think it will snow, if it does, we won't get much and it won't last very long.

K-Dub 11-13-2011 09:21 PM

forecasting weather in Vancouver is one of the toughest cities in the world due to the geographical layout... so it's understandable.

murd0c 11-13-2011 09:26 PM

I don't get my new tires until next week dammit, it better not snow before then....

CorneringArtist 11-13-2011 09:32 PM

IMO you can only predict Vancouver weather maybe two days in advance. Any more and it's lies.

I just look out the window every morning and judge it, and even then its difficult to predict the rest of the day haha

My studded snow tires don't arrive at Hagen's till friday. Just in case, I insured my QX4. Hmmm heated front and rear seats. :alone:

Isn't studded a bit of overkill for the lower mainland? I mean, more than 5cm here and civilization comes to a halt anyway.

GabAlmighty 11-13-2011 11:12 PM

Here we go again, bunch of retards believing what the forecast will be in a weeks time.
