This bundle also gives a Steam key for each game.

good to know

I recall some previous Humble Bundles had only 1 key that unlocked all 4-5 steam games when you went to redeem the code

The weekly sale has Team 17 goodness!

The current Humble Weekly deal is all about pinball games from Zen Studios. I've played Marvel Pinball on my 3DS, and I like it a lot. I haven't tried any of their tables on PC, though. Does anyone know how they compare to Pinball Arcade?

SkinnyPupp 11-21-2013 04:41 PM

If those were for tablets I'd be all over that deal

Latest Humble is online. It's another good one!
Sid Meier Bundle:

Brianrietta 02-04-2014 01:20 PM

I already own 7 of the 8 of those but I suppose now is the perfect time to get Railroads!.

SkinnyPupp 02-04-2014 02:35 PM

I put almost 200 hours into Civ V... I guess I'll grab Civ IV and see what it's like? A lot of hardcore Civ fans say it's better

I doubt I'd ever get around to playing it though

:alonehappy: Stupid extended period of disability and then unemployment.

Anyways, much like Civ V really came into it's own after Gods and Kings, Civ IV was like that with Beyond the Sword. I don't know how many hours I put into that as I had a physical disk but I played IV a lot through university. It was obviously the pinnacle of the classic Civilization games, as coming from a long time Sid Meier's Civilization, II, IV and V player, I have to say that Civ V has strayed more than a little from the formula, what with the hex and no unit stacking (for both the better and worse). I admit I find it hard to go back a game in chronology and really get into it. I can go from playing V, to II, and then to IV but I can't stand going back from V directly to IV. Just like after playing Skyrim I can't go back to Oblivion and enjoy it as easily as I could go from Skyrim back to Morrowind.

IV is worth getting though for sure.

SkinnyPupp 02-04-2014 03:14 PM

200 actually seems really low to me... I played it pretty much non stop for several weeks while I was on my 'sabbatical'

But yeah it really got great after G&K so there may not be much reason to invest in the older game

Shit now I want to play but I need to work... Gahhhhhh

KingDeeCee 02-04-2014 03:47 PM

Bought the bundle just for the $15 Brave New World expansion. Gifted the rest to my friends since I already owned them.

Awww yeah. Time to find some time to play.

It's different. I wouldn't say better necessarily; it depends on your personal preferences.

Civ 4 + expansions is definitely better than vanilla Civ 5, but Gods & Kings put Civ 5 on the same level. I'm mixed on Brave New World.

Like Brianrietta, I have way too many hours logged into Civ 5 (and Civ 4 and Civ 3). I'm definitely over 1000 hours for Civ V.

natural selection 2 (previously $2) + hotline miami featured in the latest weekly deal
https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly
average is $6

yogenfruz 04-03-2014 07:50 PM

^ Debating it for Hotline Miami. I've spend so much on Humble Bundles in the last month though, and I've barely touched any of them that I can't really justify it.

SkinnyPupp 04-03-2014 07:53 PM

I heard nothing but good things about Miami but I hated it SO much. Can't stand the controls, mouse or gamepad it doesn't matter.

There's a few Humble Bundles going on, currently:

Pax10 Humble Flash Bundle
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j4...ps225e16b8.png

Humble Jumbo Bundle 2
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j4...ps7f475a1e.png

Humble Weekly - Adult Swim Games
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j4...ps80d5d3d5.png

The Adult Swim selection didn't interest me, at all. I threw $1 at the Pax10 bundle, and paid above average for the Jumbo Bundle.

Today, I noticed a cool update with your Humble Bundle Library. If you scroll to the bottom of your Library, it'll show you all the titles you haven't redeemed, yet. This is, especially, handy for those times where more games get added to the above average price:

slick slick deal
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/jumbobundle3

4 keys of insurgency $1
pay the average to also get euro truck sim 2 and grid 2
pay $12 to get all that + SR IV

Presto 11-11-2014 02:09 PM

Paid $5.51 and got 7 titles. All I don't have! Amazing!

SkinnyPupp 11-11-2014 04:51 PM

Those games look so bad though :heckno:

Grid 2 is the only one I'd be interested, and maybe it's worth it for $5

ScizzMoney 11-11-2014 04:57 PM

Thanks! Paid 25 bucks 'cause fuck it.
