Since when does Q=G?

El Bastardo 09-29-2011 04:14 PM

What the fuck is this thread about?

Presto 09-29-2011 04:36 PM

A quick Google says Uniqlo is some kind of clothing store. That's all I need to know. I don't care if they ever come here. Next thread, please!

What does this have to do with RS Culture???

mmmk 09-29-2011 04:54 PM

I'm a member here, yet I have no clue what the OP is talking about.

CP.AR 09-29-2011 05:07 PM

uh. i love uniqlo...
but what does this have to do with RS?

Tim Budong 09-29-2011 05:12 PM

would love to have a store here
but wtf is this...

SkinnyPupp 09-29-2011 05:30 PM

BTW you can always get UNIQLO t-shirts at Kid Samurai :)

They come out every spring, and are all limited designs, so they sell out by fall. They still have a few select Gundam, Naruto, One Piece, Evangelion shirts left in various sizes right now.

Gnomes 09-29-2011 05:42 PM

Went to the NY Uniqlo store. Felt as if i was in The Gap.

SkinnyPupp 09-29-2011 05:47 PM

Yes, aside from the t-shirts which are frequently awesome, everything else in uniqlo is crap. Especially in the fall and winter, where it is FLOODED with flannel and nothing else.

Redlines_Daily 09-29-2011 05:52 PM

that guy and the "y u no..." is popular on many forums, not just a revscene thing

the Y U NO guy isnt the issue

its that this guy is stating the obvious that some members like myself wouldn't mind a UNIQLO store in Vancouver

Even then, only certain things are decent at uniqlo. i got a few zip ups from uniqlo and some undershirts...thats it...

and their anime shirts are quite awesome

but skinnys right. unless ur crazy into flannels and such.. uniqlo doesn't have too much

its basically H&M, xept its a lot more simple.

:suspicious: i remember when i was in elementary school tshirts with dragonball/street fighter/etc drawings on them were really popular and only cost like 5HKD for 1

SkinnyPupp 09-29-2011 07:36 PM

Uniqlo shirts typically aren't just "slap a logo or character on the front of the shirt and call it a day" designs. They usually have some interesting artistic design elements, using not just characters, but themes from the subject matter. That's how you end up with some awesome shirts like the infamous Metal Gear Solid "Boxhead" shirt, etc. I got so many comments on that shirt, it was kind of weird and awkward.
