i was suspended due to too many points like didnt have wallet with license nothing major.
How is this not major? That's worse than speeding.
You were deemed not fit to drive and yet you tried to do it anyways?
I don't think you learned your lesson.

OP, here's a quick tip. Even if I'm rushing out of the house, I make sure to check that I've got my phone and wallet once I'm on the road. I gave myself a checkpoint at a stop sign 3 blocks from my house. If it turns out I don't have my wallet, I turn around to get it. Suggest you do the same.

Also, agree with Stylin, you should get a bike. You'll have a blast on a bike.

I swear, OP will be the death of me.
If he's the one to kill me with his shiney new car, I request that you guys have a drink to my honor, and to his demise.

for that much money you could get a new Lexus IS.

I noticed BMW offers ridiculously high residuals for their leases. I assume because their finance group artificially pads the prices to make BMWs more attractive. You could lease a nice 3 series and invest the rest of your nest egg.

Oh, and get a nice wrap from MM Design.

geeknerd 10-13-2011 08:39 AM

are 2008 335i cabrio only 35k?
when i had it new it was 80k - 10k discount since the next models were out,
i know the sports package add some $$$$ but still only 35k dammmmm

id go with the m6 though and honestly i regret getting a cabrio in vancouver. The only time i had top downs were summer nights and we didnt have that many good summer nights.

WHen the sun is up, it really gets tooo hot...

i guess teh hardtop covers that but i regret not getting the basic m3 over the cabrio 335i

ilvtofu 10-13-2011 09:18 AM

Wouldn't go for the M6 if it had an SMG gearbox,

the 335 has a good rear seat for a 2 door and it's relatively low profile which OP probably needs. it's also got a pretty bland interior though but it works.

Bahhbeehhaaaa 10-13-2011 10:07 AM

335i would be my choice

I drove again got caught again and got a court date and impound 3months.
The coirt process took about 9-10months altogether.
Although i couldve drove when i got car back, i sold my car so couldnt drive.
The judge from richmond, which i dont remember the name if thats impprtant too,
wasnt pleased to hear i drove again and gave me a 2x1year suspension.
I havent drove for about another ~6 months after i had my license reinstated.

Was that important to answer a simple question about recommending a car?
Dont act like a bitch.

I noticed some cars may [bloose[/b] almost 9grand in value in about a year.
There was a face chnage on this years model if im correct with hardtops right?

you should get yourself a motorcycle though imo with a 50k budget get yourself a nice speedy motorcycle and a cheaper car like a fit

that way when you're in your Fit you won't be hurting anyone (hopefully) and then you can get your reckless fix out of the motorcycle you'll probably only kill yourself that way

so win/win for everyone

+1. I agree with this reply 100%. Some people forget that driving is a privilege, not a right.

Here's a piece of advice to the person who is asking for advice for buying a car: Learn to be a responsible driver first before spending money on a new ride.

Consider the other options: bus, sky train, or car pool with your homies.

You swear more than a sailor and yet you expect people to give you advice on buying a car? Learn some manners first.

Only a coward hides behind a bulletin board and swears at people using his keyboard. Your Mama didn't teach you any manners?

WHEYsted 10-13-2011 02:16 PM

I suggest a C63 or an M6.

so many bitches bitching...
Please no more bitches, just a simple question.
I don't need any more comments about my past driving record.
I rode a cbr f4i from 2004~2008 didn't kill me.
I haven't been into any accidents.
I have drove for 10+ years.
I drive safe but yes I had previously lost my license, yes it was stupid to drive with a suspended license.
Yes I make enough money to put aside 50k. And I know someone's gonna continue the bitching, I import/export sugars from brazil to Europe and asia, currently trying to expand into the states and yes I am still only in my mid 20s but I can afford it. Please no more jelousy...
This is my first nice car I am planning on purchasing.

PLEASE NO MOERE HATE
I am a safe driver never

mos_skeeto 10-13-2011 02:17 PM
