Help me decide on a new car!

Hello, I am planning on purchasing a new car and would like to hear some opinions. Please state year/price(approx. Or real)

looking to purchase a used car at least 2005 and up.
My max budget is ~$55,000 all together (may negotiate tax if private lol)
Id like something sporty preferably coupe/cabriolet.
Preferably something with a comfortable (Porsche 997 interior with navi/fully loaded is minimum) interior.
Something with good performance but doesn't have to be the fastest, I'm not a racer.
*I am planning on driving for max 2 years so something with good resale (something that wont depreciate muchin 1-2 years)

Cars I have considered.
2008 BMW 335 cabriolet - $35,000
2006 Porsche 911 997 carrera s cabriolet - $52000 (I think this got sold but interior was a bit roughed up)
2001 Porsche 911 996 turbo - $42,000 ( was to old, squeaky seats/leather too worn)
2006 BMW m6 cabriolet - ~$52000

Please help me decide on a new car! (model year price)
Please be respectful thanks! :)

I don't even want to ask why you were put into that 3.5yr suspension.....

:seriously: Maybe you should just stay away from "sporty coupe/cabriolet" vehicles.

It was due to driving with a suspended license.
i was suspended due to too many points like didnt have wallet with license nothing major.

NOTHING MAJOR? You shouldn't be driving an expensive car or any car if you are not gonna bring your license with you.
You should learn how to be responsible.

Ssensation 10-13-2011 01:51 AM

You havent ever forgot your wallet at home?
Ive had plenty of time to learn from my mistake.
I didnt realize my license was suspended because i never recieved the mail bit was told it was sent 6times.
please learn to be respectful dont be so rude.

Hey idiot, you're making yourself look like an idiot by using the word idiot in every sentence fragment of your post, it's quite ironic, idiot.

Next time you lie, check the facts first, failure to produce a drivers license is an $89 fine with 0 points. Even if you did get suspended based on points, there's no automatic 3.5 year suspension. You must have been driving dangerously or intoxicated to have been charged under the criminal code, honesty's the best policy, even if you're to embarrased to tell the truth.

Like i said i lost my license due to points at first it was only at month first.
I had drove during that time and got a court date impound2 weeks.
I drove again got caught again and got a court date and impound 3months.
The coirt process took about 9-10months altogether.
Although i couldve drove when i got car back, i sold my car so couldnt drive.
The judge from richmond, which i dont remember the name if thats impprtant too,
wasnt pleased to hear i drove again and gave me a 2x1year suspension.
I havent drove for about another ~6 months after i had my license reinstated.

Was that important to answer a simple question about recommending a car?
Dont act like a bitch.

Very important, you had your license suspended initially for excessive points, not failure to produce a a copy of your license as previously stated, then had your license suspended because you were an idiot (there's your favourite word again) and were to immature to not drive while suspended. Therefore, I judge you as being intelligent enough to operate no more than a fwd with less than 100whp; I suggest a base model Honda Fit or Kia Rio.

Welcome to RS, we will break you :noob: :fullofwin:

Seriously, based on the cars your currently considering and the fact that you only want to keep it for two years before upgrading, I would lease an M1.

Thank you.
I noticed i could purchase a 2006/2007 bmw at approx. 50k-52k
How much do you think it will depreciate in a year or two?
I noticed some cars may loose almost 9grand in value in about a year.
There was a face chnage on this years model if im correct with hardtops right?

haha i was talking about the guys he mouthed off to !

StylinRed 10-13-2011 05:43 AM

i don't think your mom should be buying you anything atm as it doesn't sound like you've learned your lessons from the punishments the government had to impose on you

but i guess since you've been treated to bad parenting thus far there's no reason to expect that to change

you should get yourself a motorcycle though imo with a 50k budget get yourself a nice speedy motorcycle and a cheaper car like a fit

that way when you're in your Fit you won't be hurting anyone (hopefully) and then you can get your reckless fix out of the motorcycle you'll probably only kill yourself that way

so win/win for everyone
