I really like this show. One of the few shows I watch without distractions. As much as I like the season long story arcs, I do miss the simple episodes. I really enjoyed the season finale.

Miss Root flirting with Shaw too.

The show is good overall but I really don't like the gang-boss storyline. Both villains are completely uninteresting. I bet they're the reason for the lower ratings.

The "ironically smart black thug" trope is SO fucking lame

Was channel surfing through some American channels tonight and came across this commercial. Found it kinda amusing.


In actual news for POI, season 5 was given the go-ahead, but only for a half season run. So, expect 12-13 episodes. This also sounds like it may be the last season due to dropped ratings, so don't be surprised if that's how it turns out.

So they moved both shows from CBS to WGN America...? I had no idea what that was, so I had to look it up... Pretty sad moving from network to some shitty cable channel.

Nah, it's still a CBS production. WGN is just one of the channels that bought licensing rights to air it.

Nope, Person of Interest is on of our productions at WB TV, we produce it, CBS has the first run TV airing/distribution rights, it will still air on CBS. WGN purchased the syndication off network rights a couple of years airing reruns for about $1.5mil per episode. That ad is just for WGN promoting running reruns of the 2 shows back to back in a lineup move

So no official date for the (alleged) final season, though it's suspected to be spring some time.
