Yup like I said earlier, it's just a lot of fan service - they aren't holding back at all.

I just like that they know this is the last season, and they can end it properly. I hate it when shows just end out of nowhere.

Yeah, lots of fan service. I think it's intentional, however. They know the show is being cancelled in advance, so the writers probably wanted to throw in a bunch of stuff in order to thank the viewers that stuck around. Sure, some of it is a little over the top (the car/gun fight, etc) and is venturing into Michael Bay tv stuff, but it's nice that they're doing it. Nothing worse than a show that doesn't at least acknowledge the fans that kept them on the air for so long.

Actually it's worse when they overdo it ;)

But I don't think that's the case here... It's the same show, just with the volume turned up a bit

Jon Nolan actually said he was saving that Root car chase/gatling gun sequence for a film, but decided to use it for POI as he felt Roots character deserved to go out like a champ. They ended up cutting the shot of the car hood decapitating the gatling gun operator partly due to time constraints and CBS S&P.

That's all she wrote. Left it open for future spinoffs at least. Wasn't a huge fan of the way it ended. Could have been worse though. Glad I was along for the ride from start. Too many shows I like end early, maybe my taste in TV is shit. Lol

I liked the ending. It would have been stupid if everyone had survived. I hope they do a spinoff with Shaw..shes just a badass

I thought the end was good. Some characters lived, some died, but there was some ambiguity overall. Pretty cool

Early on in the show I didn't expect to like Fusco, by the end he was probably my favorite character.

I'm sad it's over but happy the way it ended, it was a great show for over the years and at least they didn't leave anything hanging.

No question I agree a spinoff with Shaw would be awesome

I should watch the finale again, everyone I know keeps saying how amazing it was so maybe I missed something.

I'd like to rewatch the whole series again sometime soon too. Will easily go down as one of my favorites.
