Oh shiet, I didn't read everything.

It was not the season finale, 12 more episodes to go. But that was the last until sometime in the new year, which has yet to be determined.

I like how you failed yourself. Yeah, theres 22 episodes this season and next one is delayed till january/feb

Ron_Swanson 12-16-2011 12:09 AM

Another great episode!

Lomac 12-16-2011 11:59 PM

Great mid-season cliff hanger. It should be interesting to see how Carter deals with John and Finch now.

way2quik 12-18-2011 02:11 PM

Have Carter and Finch met in the past? Did I miss something?
Carter's face showed confusion in the end of last week's episode.

Yeah he spoke to her when he was undercover as a victim of one of their heists

TOS'd 12-18-2011 06:27 PM

Yea, the one where there was a break in at an evidence storage locker. And Carter could see that Finch and John(as a masked robber) had a few words before John ran off.

3klipze 12-20-2011 07:05 PM

.cant wait! just intoduced to show to couple of friends!

fsy82 01-13-2012 08:46 AM

for those that missed it there was a new episode last night

Soundy 01-13-2012 06:08 PM

I like where they're going with Carter.

Lomac 01-13-2012 10:18 PM

It seemed almost weird watching Finch interact with someone that (I assume) is a friend. The way the writers were building him up it was like he was basically one of those stereotypical rich hermits without any real human relationships.

That said, I'm sure that's still probably going to be true. As a prediction, I'm going to say that he once had a family that was killed by a random crime, leading him to build the machine. It's probably where he got his limp and back issue as well.

Soundy 01-13-2012 10:32 PM

He didn't have the limp in the 2005 flashbacks, though... and that's AFTER he'd built the machine, while they're trying to sell it to the gov't.

Which isn't to say your suspicion isn't correct... whatever changed his attitude and gave him the limp is probably what triggered him to activate his backdoor and track down Reese.

Spoiler!

Holy shit, I didn't even notice that those were actually flashbacks. I just went back to the last episode to make sure. :lol I was wondering why something was off.

Okay, so nix that portion of my theory. The rest should still hold though. :p

Soundy 01-14-2012 10:05 PM

Watch when they go to the overview of all the cameras, the timeline scrolls by on the bottom as it "rewinds".

Now go back a couple episodes with Reese talking to the hot blonde in the airport, and that will make a lot more sense too :)

Very good show, surprised this isn't getting more attention. Only a 2 page thread :(

Soundy 02-24-2012 07:55 AM

Really love the show, but it seems sometimes they try to pack too much into the time allotted - it's like they get to the point of 10 minutes left and realize they still have 20 minutes' worth of story to tell and go, "Oh shit, we better hurry this up!", and it all gets wrapped up a little too quickly... it's like a mild case of the Star Trek:TNG Syndrome :D

But that aside, I still look forward to it every week! Enrico Colantoni sure gets around, too... funny, but after all the years of seeing him in comedy roles (Just Shoot Me, Galaxy Quest, etc.) it was hard to get used to him as a serious good guy (Flashpoint), but somehow he fits the "nerdy, unassuming criminal mastermind" role REALLY WELL.

I was really wondering how they were gonna tie his looks to his supposed image, and I kinda assumed they couldn't because he's been MIA for like half a dozen episodes. But the new episode's a really interesting turn of events. Seems like the writers have this show all lawyered up.

Exactly! Of course, they take some liberties with what the CCTV systems can do, and working with CCTV these things SHOULD grate on me... nice thing is though, they don't RELY on it the way they do in so many crime shows (cue the classic CSI "zoom in" strip). It's an underlying tool of the stories, but not THE CENTRAL tool, which makes it a lot easier to just ignore the artistic license.
