Correct me if I am wrong. But the new 3 series will be for sedan and wagon only. The new "3 series coupe" will be in an entire new series called 4. Think of them as the junior 6 series.

Like somebody already mentioned the 3, 5 ,7 series will share some resemblance of each other. While 4 and 6 series will be your choice of coupe or convertible. I am going to assume there will be a M4 sometime in 2013.

Those headlights look awful.

I quiet like how the kindney grill and the front head light meets.

the new interior looks so much more ergonomics. compare this to the old one.

The interior is definitely a big upgrade.

This 3 series is wayyy nicer than the previous gen.
I would actually consider this now if I were looking for a small sedan.

hope the exterior is better in person...


but the interior is a definite upgrade. all started off with the new body style 7 series, then the 5 and 6.. and now even the 3 gets this treatment.

love that three spoke steeringwheel design too. the current e9x series interiors just look like crap and dated now compared to its current rivals..

That's the speed cloth option I believe, at least it's called speed cloth on most models. It's only available in Europe, maybe other countries as well, but definitely not in North America.
We'll be getting the leatherette and leather.

Just came back from BMW and already put down deposit for the 2012 328i M sport...

The car is expected to arrive around June! Hopefully this would be a good daily car until my Tesla arrives!

wtf is up with the new headlight? someone jumped on it and squished it? did it go super saiyan?

people were saying the same thing when the e90/92 came out in comparison to e46. You are comparing an older design that has been refined near the limit vs a new basic design that has lots of potential. Compare a 2007 Coupe Vs 2011 Coupe.

this photo actually changed my opinion on the styling, it actually looks quite aggressive, i bet the m3 is going to be hot

one thing i dont get is how the headlight merges with the grill.. and some of the chrome on the grill could be seen on the side...

E46's still look the best IMO

You're comparing a coupe to a sedan. I think the sedan looks better than the last gen.
