to me it looks like someone took a bat to the front end of current gen 3 and dented it up to give you the next gen

Big aesthetic upgrades for sure, both interior and exterior. Its a pretty good evolution and looks way better than the e90. 8 speed auto is also pretty neat.

My only minor nitpick is that the 335i still makes about the same amount of power but the new 3 series is better in every way than the old one.

if i was looking at a 5series and this new series from the back with the badges covered i wouldnt be able to tell the difference and thats a shame. if im spending 50-70g on a 5 series i want it to have a unique design, i dont want it too look like its cheaper little brother.

right now in terms of design.... Audi > Mercedes > BMW

its pretty easy to spot the difference between 5 and 3 just on size alone

E30 > all :D
