It's not about their reaction. You can go to an ordinary haunted house for that.

There's a blogger in NYC who reviews the main Halloween attractions there, and in addition to this one, he's been to previous years' versions. After Oct 31st, he will post a spoiler about this year's "Blackout Haunted House 2011".

Spoiler for 2010 version - after reading this, you'll understand what "sexual and violent" situations mean.

I'm too chickenshit to experience these kinds of things in person, so I'm looking forward to his write-up for this year's. I'll post it in this thread when available.

Nah, I read somewhere that the staple gun is empty - but it certainly freaks you out.

I'm pretty sure if they actually stapled you they would be facing a lawsuit..lol

1) Fake a heart attack.
2) Pretend you're dead.
3) Scare the actor that's supposed to scare you!

If you get the right lawyer the waiver won't stand much of a chance. Plus I'm sure the city wouldn't want such negative media in where a local business is allowed the use of a staple gun to harm or potentially harm a person.
