i don't care who it is, when it is, how it happened, why it happened; but when someone dies or gets severely hurt on the racetrack, it really hits me on a personally level because we both shared such an extraordinary hobby.
so close, yet so far.

Really, truly sad.

A great loss for the sport, too. He was one of the better characters.

It's morbid but I can't help but wonder about the fact that he must have required an oversized helmet to fit all that hair, and whether or not that had any bearing on what happened.
