shit wait.... is this NOT being released on PC ??? if so... then NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, all the infinite possibilities with mods, that's a low blow by Rockstar man... the only reason a studio doesnt release on PC is because of pirates, doesn't make sense for Rockstar to be concerned with PC piracy, they actually encouraged all the previous mods done by modding communities in prior GTA titles..... doesn't make sense |
^ it MAY come to PC in late 2013 or 2014...or you might be right either way..GTAIV was very poorly optimized so you'll likely need a high end system to run it decently |
I'd be sad if it didn't come out for PC. Don't enjoy shooting games on a console. |
NO PC , NO BUY. |
I'll probably get it on PS3 on release date just cus I don't want to wait another 6-10 months to play it on PC. :( |
ill get it for the ps3 but i know my dad will be choked if it doesnt show up on pc ;) |
I'll get it for console because I know more people who play it for console. :okay: But when I get a new comp will probably be in conjunction with the release date of a PC version of it :fullofwin: |
NEW GTA 5 TRAILER OUT NOW AT 730AM! |
TRAILER NUMBER 2 RIGHT HERE |
Quite interested, but only if it's on PC. It just feels.. silly.. to play games on consoles these days. |

It wouldn't take more than $500 to put together a system that would be at least 5X as powerful as a console. More like 10-15x, depending on the game. 10x performance for 2x the money? Yeah I think that might be a better choice. Oh and it's a fucken computer too, that you can, you know, do shit with ;) |
Damn, Rockstar sure knows how to make a trailer. I'd be willing to just watch all the cut-scenes as a film. Even though it'll be lesser graphics, I'll likely grab it for the PS3 after I finally get out of school for the summer. |

any pre order specials? Posted via RS Mobile |
gonna buy this for PS3. running GTA4 was such a pain in the ass on my computers. it wasn't slow or anything, it just wouldn't start up once in a while. |

you have the remember multiplatform games are generally better optimized on the console so even if it has aging hardware it will still run comparable to PC system built 2-3 years or so after that. It helps it doesn't require API to run the games and there's not like 40 million processes running the background. Then you take first party studios like Epic Games and Naughty Dog and your jaws just drop at how much value they can still squeeze out of those things. the majority of the population aren't hardcore enough to shell out $600+ every couple of years just to see 8x MSAA/ambient occlusion maxed out textures avg 60fps....especially if you play on average an hour a day. To them, 640p @30fps is just fine...I'm sure they rather keep that extra $600-1000 for something else. .and with the ps3 you also get blu-ray playback and doubles up as a media streamer...at $250 these days that's still a good deal. |

:ilied: ahh what? I always prefer PC or everything and for playing BF3, when i go play on the 360 with my buddies i'm at the point where its like lol.. are you kidding me, 16 player games vs 64 player, etc. etc. however, i've always played GTA's on the console so i dont mind buying it for PS3 |
I'm quite happy with buying a console every 5-6 years and playing whatever comes out on it, and not have to worry about upgrading till a new console comes out. Sure it might not be the best bang for your buck or be the latest and greatest but as someone who games a few days a week it's fine. Posted via RS Mobile |
^ As someone said, with producers like Naughty Dog, I'm totally happy with just a PS3. After playing the Uncharted series (mainly the most recent one) and seeing the graphic quality, I think GTA 5 will be just fine on there. |
looks so sick, gotta grab it |
:sweetjesus: spring 2013, why u no come already :yuno: |
10 years.... |
can't believe its been 10 years lol |
