if you are dropping $700 on a flight to NY , 705.50 will hardly be an issue unless you are part of the 99%.

I would do just about anything to avoid flying in or out of an american airport at the best of times, so this really makes no difference.

I'm really quite good on the amount of groping I currently receive in flying. I also like to control the scenarios under which people photograph my balls.

In all honesty, I've just been driving down and then flying within the States as it's much cheaper than in Canada. If anything, this new tax is just going to encourage me even more! You'll save $5.50 just from bringing back a some booze anyways. Our HST was worse.

I'm the same way, the more I can avoid ANY time in the states the better.

..okay?

you seem kind of like the majority of the Americans who don't possess a passport because they think their country's too awesome for the need to travel elsewhere.

nope. we have a price cap on drugs. we have what is called the patented medicine prices review board (which the US does not have a legislation of their own of, thus drug companies are able to price their meds higher). Patented Medicine Prices Review Board

we also have a closely regulated formulate that also restricts expensive meds from making the list. oh canada!

now, not all drugs are less expensive, but the majority of them are.

Only the ones with patent protection are cheaper. A majority of drugs do not have a patent protecting them anymore and you can buy generic varieties. Those ones are less expensive in the US.

That $40g you earned from selling iPhone 4S, another $15-20 must be hard on your wallet :suspicious:

There are those 2-3 days promotion tour where you take the Cruise down to Portland, shop at the outlet..and come back. :troll:

It's not much when you think about how much money I save buying from them!

Anjew 10-27-2011 10:27 AM

And you're an idiot. Just because I have little desire to travel to or through the USA, does not mean I don't travel.

I have been to to:
China
Japan
Mexico
Holland
France
Poland
Czech Republic

I've been to Houston for school & Las Vegas for work, but only because travel was free. I was largely unimpressed by those visits.

isnt this a violation of the FTA?
