Infinitely more than you, I guarantee. You don't know much about how illicit organizations do their business, if you think you're going to somehow get information from their phones or e-mails. These people operate under the assumption that every phone call or e-mail is being monitored by some agency or even a competitor. Their e-mails aren't going to say something like "There's 100 kilos of cocaine coming in on Friday at 2:00pm on pier 16....". Instead they'll be more like "Your parcel is arriving at the time & place we discussed".

Time will tell, but I'd bet money that Anon will accomplish nothing at all except to leave a trail of blood and misery. The cartels will go Keyser Soze on them and they'll be crying in their moms basements once they realize what they set in motion and how much blood is on their hands. Their friend will end up dying in some gruesome way to set an example.

Weren't a bunch of Anon members arrested awhile ago? The names of those people will be a matter of public record in the courts. Very easy for a cartel to get ahold of all those names and wipe a few of them out (along with their families). They don't care if they're involved or not - they'll do it to send a message.

Keyser Soze? lol TV much?

They're not after evidence. They're not looking to criminally prosecute beyond reasonable doubt. What they're looking for, is to expose.

And in the internet, the place where even the unreal can be mistaken for truth, fiction impersonating as fact, the hotbed of conspiracy theories... all anon has to do is just point to someone to facilitate a smear campaign. For their political assets and law enforcement moles... that's all you need to turn the public eye against them.

If you're thinking that anon is "hacker-like" like you see in Swordfish, The Italian Job, etc where you think their objective is to take over their computers and turn it against them... dude, gotta stop looking at this in the la la land perspective. Best case scenario... people in power that are in their payroll that grants them immunity, will no longer be in the position to continue to do so; and that right there is just as huge an impact as your imaginary, Jack Bauer 24 style transmission intercepts and hardware takeovers. (though I'm not saying that isn't possible either :D).

lol

We will see, ANON doesn't make false threats, it doesn't matter who was arrested or who wasn't. Although this message was portrayed differently then they usually do it

Reeeelly???
How much can you get me a couple kilos of coke and where should I pick it up?
Or is that too small an order?
Cartels are beyond organized crime. Far beyond and above but I'm confident still has there pitfalls and mistakes that can be capitalized upon and exposed by these Anon folks. Yes people may die as a result. Mostly due to the fact that with the money and the power that these cartel leaders have established comes arrogance and a feeling of infinite power. A sense of "fuck you I can do what I want". They wont take the threats seriously instead they will pull a check move and make it far more serious for all involved.

The drug war is not working. Billions are spent by various police forces and even the military. There's constant surveillance, wiretaps, investigations into banking and finances, paid informants, undercover officers on the inside and it's getting nowhere. Every time a big drug bust happens its major news but they fail to mention the other 19 shipments they didn't catch. You arrest someone and immediately there's another to take their place. The cartels just keep on operating into perpetuity with the only thing changing are the names of the people involved.

Then a bunch of nerds come along and think they are going to be able to accomplish something nobody else has - tell the cartels what they can and cannot do. The arrogance of these guys is beyond belief.

Not suprising, I mean who the fuck is anon going to name when Eric Holder is caught lieing about knowledge of the US gov shipping guns to the cartels in exchange for the cartels laundering money thru the chosen fed banks. Along with the head of homeland security pretending not to know anything about this program and also caught lieing.
Who the FUCK else can anon possibly name ?
