so the cartels are gonna start mailing out fingers or other body parts of the kidnapped guy to newspapers and the police. How fast to you think the internet nerds will stop then?
if the CIA or whoever cant get info on the cartels, how could a bunch of hackers do it? whos to say the authorities don't already know who they are? outing a bunch of criminals will do, well nothing.
if the cops havn't bagged these guys already, theres probably a good reason why not.

Hmmm...interesting. Given the ruthless nature of the Cartel, I would guess that they will just continue killing. Releasing names and such will only be a bandiad for the hackers. Any member or associate who is compromised will be dealt with and replaced quickly.
I agree that information is power but the Cartel has fear on their side meaning that someone will always talk, eventually. Protecting their empire and its profits is their #1 concern and no expense is spared to ensure that.

i think we're gonna start seeing reports of fat/skinny nerds dying in their mothers' basements due to erotic asphyxiation and no1 not even the police will doubt that's how they died

You guys seem to forget we live in the age of digital media and communications even the cartel have to use the internets to be such a big operation. These past few years we have seen an immense amount of hackers/groups foil HUGE companies within months. Anon could already have people on the inside for all we know..

Just wondering but since the Anon are known hackers and ANYONE can join them.. Don't you think that since there ALL Anon.. THEY don't 100% know whos whos? Since im assuming they probably take some measures to keep them from being known to others(ex. undercover police)...
I would not be surprised if the Anon. work in hiding even among each other in a case something like that would happen.
Just saying it would make a lot of sense..
