Awesome........... corrupt some young RS members. Some of them have probably never seen a live nekked girl before.
Come to think of it, they may not even be old enough to go, LOLOLOLOL.
that would actually be pretty funny to see. a meet at #5 would be priceless. I should start getting out meeting people since I'm sure others would like to know who I am lol
It is a very nice place. Full of history. If you decide to go see this historic place, take a walk north one block and east another. Kitty corner is the St. James Anglican Church. Doors are always open. If you want history, that place has it. The smell is of air that hasn't been changed in decades - incense and candles. I used to seek refuge there in times of trouble (even though I wasn't religious).
DTES is fascinating. Everyone should walk around the neighbourhood. See what it's really like, instead of driving by.................
I totally agree. Years ago, I went to a bar down there that I can never remember the name of, and got kicked out for being too drunk. That's cool I said, I'll go for a walk and sneak back in when its busier. I got thrown out the second time-then got in a fight, and almost thrown in the drunk tank-but that's so not what this story is about.
Anyway, I ended up walking around half cut(I don't know what the bouncers issue was, I sobered up in minutes) in the DTES, and if you've seen Star Trek First Contact, it reminded me of that. They'll ignore you until they perceive you as a threat. So I'm walking around, and these people are like zombies. They just go about their small, insignificant lives. They knew they couldn't relate to me, and didn't try.
I was waiting for the walk light, and this guy is sitting at the corner of the building. I ask him, "are you smoking crack?"
Well I'm already at the #5 usually 3 days a week, so see y'all there.

It's not about that, it's if you're in the mood for an adult beverage, why not have a drink and see some naked girls dancing while having a drink? lol.
