i just wasted my time watching a video from like 1995 that didnt seem to gain me any knowledge what so ever..

For a moment you had me worried. Thought u-tube had posted my wedding videos. I saw my ex's mother pass thru the middle of the basketball players and had severe flashbacks. :D

Are you being serious? Those who watched the video, gave it an honest attempt and it was unanimous that your video was pointless. I think YOU'RE missing the point when we're telling you that it was stupid...

If you feel that it had a legitimate message and purpose...feel free to explain it to us.

Well, we seem to have exceptionally "smart" people in this forum! This video has been used many times to demonstrate how, on average, 70%+ of the "normal" people that watch this miss the gorilla walking through the center of the ball throwers because of concentrating on counting the passes. A similar thing happens when trying to concentrate on a conversation you are having with someone on a cell phone while driving........how many people, either yourselves or someone has said this to you.....can't remember driving the last 6 blocks because of talking on the cell phone?

It was a stupid video? Perhaps..to those of you "smart" people! But this video has been used for years to demonstrate how easy a "normal" person can be distracted........and I just thought it was an interesting demonstration of it.

Oh, and my point was stated in my original post.....you must have missed it! Did the video distract you? :D

Only reason why is....OP posted this video up expecting to get thanked.
And at the same time....he doesn't want to break his 0 fail record so he resorted to posting it in the Police Forum.

Alright, I'll agree with you that "smart" people won't be phased by this video, "normal" people would be intrigued and "stupid" people would post in on a forum expecting to get some sort of positive reaction.
