Fxxk!....car got hit and run!:(

Thought it would be awesome to have a day off, so went to have dim sum at Aberdeen Center. What a dumb idea! My car got hit at the front left bumper at the parkade!!!!!! A note was left at my dash with a # to call. I thought, well, at least someone was nice enuv to do so. Guess what, the # is fake! What a axxhole! Why bother leaving me a fake one!
If anyone saw this incident between 1:30 to 3:45pm 11/11/2011 at the parkade at Aberdeen Center, lemme know.

Damn that's sad. Apparently someone saw the asshole hit and run so he is forced to write down a fake number for you. Pretty smart ass.

Went there today for the 2nd time in a few years.. Was just thinking how horrible the drivers are at parking there. It's not even that bad of a parkade..

Im sure Aberdeen Center has security cameras in the parking lot.
Go to the desk and ask if you can see the tapes.

Sucks.
Worst case is you'll pay the $300 deductable to get it repaired.

On a holiday, parked near the entrance, I'd be a monkey's uncle if no one saw them hit you. So I'm appalled no one left you their info as well. Even if I saw a driver leave a note, I'd leave them my info too. Even if you believe the best the in people, the more info the victim has the better.

I saw a lady in a corolla backing out of her spot at Aberdeen once.
I wasn't moving, waiting for a car a few cars in front of me to park, so my friend and I started to watch her, talking about how she'd probably hit the car beside her.
And sure enough, as she begins to reverse out she hits the car beside her, she stops, kinda props herself up to look at what she's just hit, but then she keeps reversing, destroying the other car's bumper. Half the other car's bumper ended up on the floor.
And then she just drives off.
Unluckily for her, she didn't notice I was filming this.
Wrote my number down, and put it in the guys wind-shield, and emailed him the video when he called me later.
I really hate that parking lot.

I once watched a guy back his car into a c63 while parking. He got out and took a quick look and acted as if nothing happened. I left a note for the driver but I'm guessing the guy probably took the note off since no one ever called.

I feel your pain.....somebody backed into my car during the halloween weekend rush.....just destroyed my front bumper....500 dollar deductible later, and 2 weeks; my car is still in the shop at MB.

You know what man?? That could very well be the real number! The person probably just all of a sudden could have had a change of heart and said "OH SORRY WRONG NUMBER!" Or however its said in HongKong Cantonese. Its not much different than some chickenshit flaking from a deal w/o so much as a phonecall!

that really sucks man. I looked up the word c-lai and I totally get it now..

Urban Dictionary: C-lai

Pronounced "see-lai".

A middle to upper age woman of usually Chinese descent, who has several/all of the following distinctions from regular people:

1. Doesn't have a job, or works in some menial position like housekeeping. Husband brings home the dough.
2. Drives a BMW 7-series, X5, or Mercedes-Benz SL, GL, or ML.
3. Drives 40 km/h down the road, even when everyone is going 60-70.
4. Wears full-length (extending up to elbow) driving gloves on both hands and a welding mask for the face, and for fear of getting skin spots.
5. Puts the driver's seat in the farthest position forward, with the seatback vertical, and still doesn't use the seatback. (ie leans forward, so face is inches from the steering wheel)
6. Hits other cars when parking, and is completely oblivious that she just ran over the hood of the lowered Civic next to her parking spot. Also parks on the lines so that neighbouring drivers cannot even get into their cars.
7. Only goes between the supermarket, home, and the homes of other C-lais to play mah jong.
8. Never smiles, as that creates wrinkles.
I freaked out after seeing the C-lai in the SUV next to me and rear-ended the car in front.

That C-lai dinged my car! wtf

i remember seeing a c-lai nail a parked car and i was there to witness it. they left a note and i still called it in to icbc, i figured they'd pull a BS stunt like put a fake # to try to fool witnesses. better safe than sorry for the car owner. assume the worst, hope for the best
