| Compustar Question regarding remote
Ive always wondered about this but damnit, every time im at the audio shop i keep forgeting to ask.
Can you add a 2nd compustar remote to the existing system? i still have the remote from my old gs300, its the same black compustar pro remote as the current one i have. i even have the same aux white remote too.
i actually want to replace the current one because 9/10's out of 10, the remote doesnt communicate with the car, it will do the 1 way, but display that the car is running, unarmed, or whatever on the actual remote doesnt work.

Had the first remote replaced under warrenty and now the replacement remote is doing the same thing. Alarm works, but the remote shows nothing and doesn't even chirp when you press the buttons.
I believe you can use your old remote. They just need the brain to sync with the remote.

Yeah some older remotes will not work with newer systems but at long as its the PRO and not the PRO SS system then it'll program up just fine. I can also try to warranty the remote for you dude. Its a 50/50 chance that they'll replace it but we can sure try.

I have a question I can't figure out. I have a nustart nu8000r and I don't know what I did but when I arm or disarm my alarm or turn on auto start but remote won't beep anymore. How can I make it beep?
I've read the manual and can't figure it out for the life of me.

You have to get into the programming menu. Call me tomorrow at the shop and I can walk you though it.
